Maya Iskoz is a multimedia artist whose practice grounds critical theory and philosophy in familiar symbols and mainstream cultural references through sculpture and video. She is specifically interested in understanding identity through the self’s relationship with vulnerability, commodity, addiction, digitality, and the material world. She was a 2025 artist in residence at the Yale Norfolk Summer School of Art and is expected to graduate with her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2026.
